We have been retained to recruit an exceptional External Sales Representative for our client, one of the top four timber companies in Britain with turnover exceeding £43m.
With four production and distribution centres nationally, the company has full distribution coverage across England and Wales and offers a wide range of products including: planed and moulded sections, decking, sawn joinery redwood and whitewood, MDF window board, skirting and architrave, door lining sets and casings, CLS sections, Scaffold Boards, Battens, Treated Fencing including posts, feather edge, sleepers etc. and Sheet Materials.
Selling to a customer base of builders’ merchants, timber merchants, garden building and shed manufacturers, and to the joinery manufacturing and constructions sectors, the company has ambitious growth plans for 2016 and seeks a seasoned Sales Professional to develop sales in and around the M62 corridor as part of its continued expansion.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and Sales Director, you will be responsible for pro-actively driving sales growth throughout the region through a mixture of managing existing accounts and a heavy dose of securing new business. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the UK Timber industry and associated products and be ready to make a step up and develop a name for themselves with the full backing of an ambitious, dynamic operation.
Performance Objectives:
Our client is willing to offer an attractive basic salary commensurate with experience, a fantastic commission structure, pension and company car.
