We attended IFSEC International 2014 at ExCel yesterday – it was certainly a well attended show; great to say hello to clients I have worked for and have a catch up to find out how business is for them. A couple of stands really caught my eye…
Firstly I visited the Bosch stand where they were promoting their new Dinion IP camera range aimed at the commercial sector. One of the key selling points for these cameras is their aesthetic design makes them ideal for seamless and discrete indoor installation, offering maximum security for people and property while simultaneously respecting the building’s architecture.
Secondly I spoke with Elite Systems Solutions who manufacture and distribute vehicle camera solutions, including mobile CCTV, the quality of which has to be seen to be believed. The solution is aimed at buses, taxis, police cars, emergency vehicles, logistics and cash-in-transit vans. They also have a special explosion proof solution for hazardous areas
I also spent some time chatting to new prospective clients, overall the message was that the Security industry is incredibly busy and the frontrunners are looking to strengthen their talent to capitalise on improving conditions. All in all – a great day spent networking in glorious sunshine. I walked miles and have the blisters to prove it!
